Spotting a Fake Designer Handbag
When you’re buying a designer handbag there are some details you need to pay attention to in order to make sure what you’re buying is an authentic designer handbag. Before you lay down your hard earned cash give the bag a good looking over and check for these tell tale signs of a fake. Poor Stitching Quality- If the stitching is uneven, shoddy or in any way inferior it’s a fake. True authentic handbags have straight, superior quality stitching. Glued on Logos- If the designer logo is glued on, such as with a Fendi handbag, it’s a fake. Authentic designer handbags always have their logos attached properly with high quality hardware. The Materials Used is of Poor Quality- Fakes are made cheaply by using poor quality and inexpensive materials. True authentic handbags will be made of fine leathers, top quality canvas or good quality nylons (depending on the designer). If the materials used look shoddy in any way the bag is a fake. Super Low Prices- While it is possible to get authentic designer handbags for a really good price if it’s under $100.00 when it’s new it’s probably a fake. It’s good to hunt for bargains but if the price is way too good to believe it’s probably a fake designer handbag. Shopping Online- When you can feel and inspect a designer handbag before purchasing always buy from a reputable dealer. Any website selling authentic designer handbags will clearly state on their website that they are authorized resellers of those designers. Also, look for a no hassle, money back guarantee. These are signs of a true reseller and you can rest assured you’re getting the real deal.
